Master Visual Aids (MVA's) can dramatically improve a short presentation on research by providing visual impact, easy to read graphs and overviews of studies. They can be used in person to present research allowing you to quickly highlight the study findings in a conversation or in print as a leave behind.
Aligned Methods has all of the MVA's listed on this site available as downloads (free for members) or in print for $15.00 each and includes the mechanism of action MVA leaflets. These are printed in catalog form with sturdy gloss paper. At 8-12 pages long the content contained in these MVA's will provide multiple presentations with the same doctor on multiple occassions and are better for in person presentations where you may need a variety of studies to reference. These are not ones to be left behind with physicians unless by request.
Should you wish to leave behind MVA information we suggest taking the page of the MVA that references a particular study that you would like to share with a physician and print it out on quality paper. Perhaps you might consider adding your practice information on a portion of the MVA. For instance, to highlight Dr. Haas's large study on acute and chronic lower back pain, you could make a 4 page booklet and use the last page to highlight your practice. If it's a single page print out you want, use only the page that examines acute lower back pain from the study and use the back side of the paper for your clinic information. You or your staff can use these condensed versions to drop off at medical clinics you wish to have or already have a referral relationship with. Please make sure that you keep the references on the materials and that you provide a copy of the clinical the MVA leaflet is referencing. Removal of references is a violation of copyright law, not by us but by the research papers publisher.
